Most businesses are designed to extract attention, data, and revenue. Reciprocity begins from a different premise: create value before asking for anything in return. Our ventures are designed to create sustainable, equitable value across the relationships that make them possible.
Our philosophy
Building systems for the post extraction economy.
We believe in business as a vehicle for regeneration—creating adjacent infrastructure that challenges extractive systems. Our operating vision is that of giving humans a better choice. And a better choice is radical in a world where existing options too often perpetuate systemic harm.
Five essential sectors
Re-imagining systems.
We build ventures across the sectors where extraction shapes daily life most deeply. Each area of transformation is an opportunity to turn values into tangible impact.
Commerce
Making everyday exchange more local, ethical, and reciprocal.
Agriculture
Restoring the systems that nourish people, land, and communities.
Energy
Building toward cleaner, more sovereign ways to power life.
Healthcare
Expanding access to care that treats people as whole systems.
Housing
Building in harmony with nature and living ecosystems.
First principles
The Sustainability Blueprint.
A regenerative systems philosophy for building ventures that serve as stewards of the living world and give back more than they consume.
Innovation creates the most impact when it is accessible. We build ventures that expand participation, distribute agency, and make meaningful value exchange available to more people.
Every venture operates within larger living ecosystems. Stewardship means building companies that respect the resources, relationships, and environments that make their existence possible.
How we build
Our Ethos.
01 · Shared wellbeing
A sustainable living wage.
Every founder and team member across our ventures should have the conditions to do meaningful work without sacrificing their health or stability. We believe providing generous living wages and health benefits is a basic standard, not a privilege.
02 · Humane technology
Technology in service of people.
We set limits around AI so it furthers humanity rather than hinders it. We host our own servers to keep our energy footprint small and maintain data sovereignty for the people we serve. We do not use generative AI, and deploy AI only where it gives time back to humans for creativity and wellbeing—never to replace them.
03 · Distributed value
Profit with a purpose.
Above a reasonable threshold, every venture reallocates profit into thoughtfully selected humanitarian and environmental impact projects. We believe wealth should be redistributed, not hoarded.
